Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026

Trade2.me ("we", "us") is a project in pre-launch development, operating from Croatia. No formal company has been registered yet — until it is, the operator of this website acts as the data controller for the purposes described below. Contact: contact@trade2.me.

1. What we collect

Right now this site only collects the email address you voluntarily submit through the "Notify me" waitlist form. We do not run analytics, ad tracking, or any other data collection on this site at this stage.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase) automatically log standard technical data (e.g. IP address, browser user agent, request timestamps) as part of normal server operation. We do not access this data for profiling or marketing.

2. Why we collect it

Your email is used solely to notify you when Trade2.me launches or has meaningful updates to share. We will not use it for any other purpose without asking you first.

3. Legal basis

We process your email based on your consent, given when you submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).

4. Storage & processors

Waitlist emails are stored with Supabase, our database provider. Supabase may store data outside Croatia/the EU; where it does, transfers rely on Supabase's standard contractual safeguards. We do not sell or share your email with third parties for marketing.

5. Retention

We keep your email until launch notifications are complete or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

6. Cookies

This site does not currently set any cookies or use browser local storage for tracking. Your language preference (English/Croatian) is kept only in memory for your current visit and is not persisted. If we add analytics or persistent preference storage in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first via a cookie banner.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your email at any time by writing to contact@trade2.me. Once a formal company is registered, you will also be able to lodge a complaint with Croatia's Data Protection Agency (AZOP) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

8. Changes

This is a placeholder policy for a pre-launch site and will be replaced with a complete version once Trade2.me's platform and company registration are finalized. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever it changes.
